The little sardines in olive oil of Ramón Peña come from the Galician Rias and the Mediterranean Sea. Finely selected from the best pieces in the port. They are cleaned, roasted, and craft packaged in tin filled with Spanish olive oil.
Founded in 1920, the family-run Ramón Peña cannery is now being run by the family’s third generation. The Ramón Peña brand name is synonymous with exceptional quality, and is admired by a multitude of professional chefs & aficionados of gourmet foods. They are meticulous in everything from harvest, through selection, preparation, and final packaging.
