Ramón Peña’s know-how is perfectly shown with these Chipirones (Baby Squid) in their ink! Spanish canned seafood (known as Conservas) has long been served in restaurants, bars, and at home as a delicacy.
Carefully packed, each squid is cleaned, its tentacles are turned inside it and is then stuffed with onion, peppers, and tomato.
Founded in 1920, the family-run Ramón Peña cannery is now being run by the family’s third generation. The Ramón Peña brand name is synonymous with exceptional quality, and is admired by a multitude of professional chefs & aficionados of gourmet foods. They are meticulous in everything from harvest, through selection, preparation, and final packaging.
Food Pairing:
