To be sauteed, roasted, grilled or steamed!
First recorded in China, particularly in Manchuria, during the 19th century, spaghetti squash gained popularity around the world during the Second World War, when it was often used as an alternative to pasta.
Its most distinctive feature is its unique flesh, which separates into long, translucent strands resembling spaghetti when cooked. Mild in flavour and naturally versatile, spaghetti squash makes a delicious and lighter alternative to traditional pasta, perfect with tomato sauces, herbs, vegetables, or grilled meats.
Store whole squash in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Once cut, wrap it tightly and refrigerate for up to 1–2 weeks.
