Tequila Reposado, Código 1530

Crafted by a local artisan distillery in Amatitán, Código 1530 tequila is made using a private recipe. It starts with fully-matured agave, cooked in stainless steel ovens, then fermented and distilled twice in stills. To be called Reposado, a Tequila needs to “rest” for 1 year minimum in oak barrels, The Codigo 1530 age its “Repo” for 18months, until the taste is matching satisfying standards of the brand quality. “Código” translates to “code,” reflecting the commitment to preserving centuries-old customs and traditions in the production of this tequila.

After spending 6 months in oak barrels, it showcases vibrant, sweet agave flavours complemented by the added layers of vanilla, toasted caramel, and a hint of subtle cocoa powder.

This tequila is a special treat, making it a perfect companion for a post-dinner sip or it can be transformed into an exquisite Tequila Old Fashioned.
