Tequila Rosa, Código 1530

Crafted by a local artisan distillery in Amatitán, Código 1530 tequila is made using a private recipe. It starts with fully-matured agave, cooked in stainless steel ovens, then fermented and distilled twice in stills. The tequila is carefully aged in French White Oak red wine barrels from Napa Valley, a departure from traditional American whiskey barrels. This unique aging process results in a tequila known for its clean elegance and delicate finish. “Código” translates to “code,” reflecting the commitment to preserving centuries-old customs and traditions in the production of this tequila.

The Rosa Tequila has many aromas and notes which contribute to a unique taste, the most notable being fresh agave, citrus and floral. Overall it leads with bright agave character and finishes with the soft red wine notes of Cabernet.
