Discover the story of Aramits in this short video!
In 1998, Martine Lembeye, the daughter of a cheesemaker, created a local cheesemaking venture to safeguard the traditional cheesemaking heritage of the Béarn and Basque valleys against industrialization. This artisanal approach has fueled the cheese factory’s success, and it continues as a family-run business, now with Sébastien Lembeye, Martine’s son.
With its concentrated and strong flavours mixed with fruity notes, the Tomme de Chèvre is a traditional cheese made in Aramits which embodies the land where it was produced. This round, thick cheese has a subtle, yet powerful taste, with a flexible and smooth texture.
Perfect to pair with nuts as well as dried tomatoes.
Keep it in the fridge, wrapped in cheese paper.
Wine Pairing:
Red wines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Beaujolais)
White wines (Sauvignon Blanc, Pouilly Fume)

Super yummy. Highly recommended

A good choice for those who like strong goat cheese whilst enjoying a hard/semi-hard texture.
