Weight: 350
Cheese Type: Uncooked, Pressed cheese
Produced at Lorette’s farm with raw cow’s milk and refined for a minimum of 4 weeks, this Tomme is slightly bigger than the other Tomme from Savoie region we can find usually. The cheese is washed with brine which develops this light rose-orange colour and a little ‘mousse’ of mucor is formed on the top of the cheese depending on the season, that give this grey patches aspect. Soft and creamy, it will please all the type of palate with its delicacy and onctiosity. Between a Tomme and a Reblochon, the nutty, milky and buttery notes are enhance. Add some pieces of walnuts and a slice of toasted buckwheat bread it is beautiful!
Wine Pairing:
Red wines (Château Neuf du Pape)
White wines (Sauternes)
