Vermouth White, Maison Dolin

A crisp Vermouth White from Maison Dolin is made in the French Alps using white wine infused with mountain botanicals. The recipe features gentian, lemon balm, and chamomile, plus local herbs from Chambéry. It is lightly sweetened but remains fresh and floral.

Each sip offers a pale gold color and a delicate nose of white flowers, pear, and honey. The palate is smooth, slightly sweet, and herbal, with a clean, gentle finish lacking the bitterness of dry vermouth. Unlike Italian versions, this is lighter and more aromatic, perfect for sipping chilled.

Instructions for a Martini:

1. Chill the glass: Fill a martini glass with ice water or place in the freezer.
2. Combine: Discard the ice water. Fill a mixing glass with fresh ice. Add 75ml of gin/vodka and 15ml of White Vermouth.
3. Stir: Stir for 20-25 seconds (less time than a dry martini, as Bianco is more delicate).
