The Rothschild family is not only in banks or wine… but also in cheese! Owners of the Domaine des 30 Arpents, located in Seine-et-Marne, in the heart of the Briard country, they produce an exceptionnal Farm Brie with Perigord Black truffles: a true gem for cheese lovers! Produced by the Domaine des 30 Arpents, located in Seine-et-Marne, in the heart of the Briard country, this Brie with Perigord Black Truffles is a true gem. Since 1991, the property’s cheese dairy has been making the one and only Brie de Meaux Fermier AOP.
For the “Fermier à la truffe du Périgord”, the head cheesemaker at the Domaine des 30 Arpents selects the finest Bries de Meaux, which are lovingly ripened for five to six weeks. Each cheese is cut in half and garnished with a Brillat cream mixture, to which are added thin slices of Périgord black truffles. To allow the truffle to fully expresses itself within the creamy texture of the cheese, the Brie wheel is again placed in a maturing cellar for several days.
The cheese has a creamy and buttery texture with notes of nuts. What makes it even more tastier is the Perigord truffle, known for being the culinary diamond of the kitchen. The cheese reveals a sublime perfume of black truffle which will delight all your guests for this Christmas season!

1 review for Brie Fermier with Périgord Truffle (Rothschild)
Simon Au –
Comes wrapped in cheese paper in a rustic cardboard box. Much firmer than regular brie, especially the brie you might get at a restaurant, but no less creamy. The truffle is quite heavy but not overpowering. Rave reviews from immediate and extended family.
