Caciotta allo Yogurt brings together two of Ponte Vecchio farm’s distinct offerings: the raw milk sourced from their own Bruna cows and the use of fresh, natural yogurt as a processing ferment. The farm, helmed by skilled cheesemaker Italo Curto, operates as a family-run establishment known as Ponte Vecchio.
At first bite, you’ll experience a pleasing sweetness reminiscent of yogurt, concluding with a gentle touch of saltiness.
Delicious on its own! As an appetizer, let its creamy flavour shine alongside crackers and light charcuterie. You can also mix it into salads, pasta dishes, or melt it over your favourite warm meals for a touch of culinary elegance.
Keep it in the fridge after opening wrapped in cheese paper.
Wine Pairing:
Red wines (Beaujolais, Lambrusco)
Whites wines (Pinot Gris, Roussanne)

Nicolas Guyon –
Really enjoyed this cheese. It’s versatile and pairs well with fruits and nuts.
Driscoll ck –
It’s creamy and easy to pair with, but for me, it’s a bit bland and lacks of character
Rain –
Taste of yogurt is not obvious but the overall taste is good.
Paul C –
A nice straightforward cheese with a slight tang from the yoghurt. Nothing particularly memorable, but an interesting addition to the cheeseboard.
