Cheese Type: Melted cheese
One of the Jura cheese specialty, Cancoillotte is made with a ‘metton’ base which is a curd skimmed milk mixed with water or milk and buttter or salt. Some of the cancoillotte have garlic or yellow wine added. Served cold or hot, Cancoillotte has a runny texture with a yellow colour. Spread on bread or dig some vegetables in it.
