Crafted by the Oxford Cheese Company, College White with Truffles has been an integral part of Oxford’s culinary scene since their shop’s inception in the Covered Market in 1983. Initially intended for consumption within Oxford Colleges, the cheese’s renown spread through word of mouth, leading to high demand across the entire southeastern region of England.
Oxford College White with Truffles is a bloomy rind cheese similar to a Brie. The cheesemaker takes their soft, creamy College White cheese, slices it in half and adds a rich layer of black truffle.
Pair it with walnuts, fruits and a glass of sparkling wine or cider.
Store in the fridge, wrapped in cheese paper, and consume within a few days.
