Astros, with a history tracing to the 13th century, saw its first cellar in 1637. In 1860, his grandson Marc Maximin Martin built a Tuscan-inspired Château. Today, the eighth-generation family head, Bruno Maurel, leads the transition to organic farming since 2021. Temperature control is paramount to produce quality Rosé, that’s why Minuit Rosé’s grapes are harvested at night to preserve it from the day’s heat. This cuvée is the prestige of the Château d’Astros and is featured in Michelin-starred menu of the restaurant Mott 32.
Absolu, a wine representing the best of Astros from the selection of the vines capturing the most light and typicity of a Provencal terroir, limestone and dry soils, and all the magic of the estate.
The cuvée Absolu reveals deep aromatic notes of strawberry and melon. A light and balanced wine to go along your mediterannean meals and apéritifs.
