Starting from the 1950s and continuing to the present day, the Breton family has dedicated themselves to tending the vineyards of Aube. Among his siblings, Laurent Breton, the youngest, along with his wife Karine Breton, made a joint decision to venture into the world of winemaking.
In 2005, they introduced “Champagne Germar Breton.” The name of the champagne is derived from the first names of their daughters, Gersande and Marcelline Breton.
Perfumed, rich, the nose expresses scents of yellow stone fruits and nuts. Roasted fruits and nuts with a hint of honey form the aromatic base of this balanced and velvety wine, enhanced by crisp hints of pear skin, apple and strawberry. Greedy and pleasant, the mouth delivers salty and sweet impression on the finish.
This cuvée can be enjoyed from the aperitif to the dessert, and goes particularly well with rich dishes, such as poultry or dishes in sauce. Nothing better than the intense and luminous colour of the Brut with scallops and parmesan.
Food Pairing:
Poultry, Dish in sauce, Scallops, Parmesan
