Château Cissac is meticulously produced and aged, adhering to traditional distribution methods. Nestled in the heart of the Médoc region, its exceptional terroir neighbors the esteemed Saint-Estèphe and Pauillac appellations, spanning approximately one hundred hectares. The soil is predominantly sandy gravel over clay and limestone, with vineyards occupying a contiguous plot protected by the village of Cissac and the surrounding forests.
This wine displays a medium ruby red color, with a nose of lilac, acacia, and blackberry. On the palate, it offers a pleasing balance between primary aromas of red and black fruits and subtle secondary notes of light wood and vanilla. It features typical, rich tannins and a savory finish.
Château Cissac pairs beautifully with a wide range of classic meat dishes—including veal, pork, beef, and lamb—as well as Asian cuisine, hearty fish like tuna, mushrooms, and a variety of cheeses.
