Paul Meunier and his partner Lucile Morin took over the former Saint-Arnac cooperative in Roussillon in 2014. Therefore, their objective was to transcribe their terroir as well as possible and give their wine what they call “a taste of the place”.
Located in the Vallée d’Agly, their vineyards are old, free of chemicals and pesticides, and worked with horses.
Lou Faurat is a plot located at a slight altitude, on a gentle and well exposed slope in the commune of Lesquerde, allowing the Muscat Blanc à Petits Grains to express an astonishing freshness, reinforced by a choice of slightly early harvests, which retains its flavours of exotic fruits and of citrus fruits often masked by the usual strong sweetness of Muscats de Rivesaltes.
A not too sweet Muscat that has a great finesse.
