Washed with Walnut liquor
Noyou cheese is a specialty of Fruitiere du Doubs. Closed to its Reblochon cousin, Noyou is made from the milk of Montbeliarde cow only and has a supple paste aaromatized with natural Walnuts liquor. To add more character, the cheese is washed with Walnut liquor during its maturation process. The result is a creamy cheese with a fine walnut aroma. Like its cousin, Noyou is also a perfect cheese to create savoury Mountain dishes such as Tartiflette.

Red wines (Beaujolais, Gamay, Marsannay)
White wines (Savoie)
