Historically, small pink radishes have been a springtime treasure in French kitchen gardens for centuries—served raw with butter and salt as a simple, joyous pleasure. Unlike larger, sharper winter radishes, these delicate breakfast radishes were bred to be mild and gentle on the palate.
On taste, the radish is soft and soothing. Its thin, rosy skin and crisp white flesh snap lightly between the teeth. The aroma is fresh and clean: wet earth, morning dew, and a whisper of sweet grass.
