Since it was acquired by the Dassault family in 1955, former Château de la Couperie has not ceased to make progress. All this Grand Cru Classé vineyards have been enhanced while respecting the century old terroir.
The nose of this Saint-Emilion is almost reminiscent of a Pomerol, both seductive, slightly chocolatey, with aromas of black cherries. On the palate, blackcurrant takes over, with a pleasant silky texture, and a finish that soars towards notes of liquorice stick.
The palate is elegant, finely acidulous, delicate and offers juiciness, power and a beautiful juicy fruitness. Tannins are racy and finely marked.
