For three generations, the Lucien Crochet estate has upheld a rich legacy. Founded in the 1950s by Lucien Crochet, who merged the estates of André Crochet and Lucien Picard, the winery gained recognition in top Parisian restaurants before expanding globally. Today, Lucien’s son continues to innovate, enhancing winemaking techniques. The “Lucien Crochet estate” stands as a testament to their unwavering dedication to producing exceptional wines that embody tradition, skill, and constant improvement.
Le Chene Marchand wine displays a vibrant golden yellow colour. Its aroma captures the essence of acacia flowers and almond paste, revealing a subtle spiciness reminiscent of white pepper and gingerbread when exposed to air. The finish leaves a lasting impression of chalky notes intertwined with candied orange peel. With a rich and velvety texture, flavours of chestnut cream and mirabelle plum unfold on the palate. The wine achieves a delightful balance between a gentle sweetness and delicate bitterness, leading to a mineral-infused finish.
This wine has an ageing potential of 8 to 10 years.
