Finding its origins back when the Roman Empire expanded across the Piemontese mountain tops, the Toma Piemontese is perhaps the oldest cheese known in Italy.
This cow milk cheese has a cylindrical shape with a flat surface, a smooth rind and a yellow and slightly reddish colour. Its texture is soft and light, while its taste is sweet, pleasant and delicate. Toma Piemontese goes very well with honey and fresh fruits.

Simply love its milky favour and texture though the favour fade out slightly on the next day. Definitely another must buy item in my list.

First time to tried it and I definitely like its taste and texture, the flavour is milky, sweet and a little bit acidic, I can’t stop eating it ♡
Hope I can buy it again :p
