Plou & Fils represents 500 years of history dedicated to wine. From 1508 to nowadays, each generation has been taught by the previous one about the secrets of winemaking.
This sparkling wine named “méthode traditionnelle” (traditional method) is elaborated by the book, like the grand sparkling wines. After a 6 month vinification in a vat, the wine undergoes a second fermentation in our cellars that lasts 12 months. Then, the bottles are twisted and tilted, little by little, to remove the sediment.
The fineness of the bubbles associated with the Chenin elegance produces a crisp and fresh wine with aromas of apple and grapefruit. In the mouth, the flavours are still there, enhanced by citrus aromas.
Perfect to pair with Seafood, Fish and Valencay cheese.
