Goose foie gras is considered by specialists to be the black caviar of foie gras: more expensive than duck foie gras and with its subtler flavour, this is the foie gras of gourmets and connoisseurs.
Only prepared from whole lobes, it is cooked under vacuum to keep all the flavour and aromas of Foie Gras. It is then wrapped in a tea towel (”Torchon”) for an upscale presentation.
Goose foie gras has a fine and subtle taste. You will notice its delicately spicy flavour; this is the aromatic secret of Maison Feyel! 11 skilfully chosen spices mix to season our goose foie gras. You will taste its melting and unctuous texture.
