A delightpiecey intense and complex cognac, the Merlet Sélection Saint-Sauvant Blend No.2 Cognac is a limited-edition selection. Nose is about spices (vanilla, sichuan pepper), ripe fruits and jasmine flower while the round palate shows dried apricots and a fine wood note.
This serie was bottled in 2016 from different cognac as old as 1948, 1971 and 1984 and dated from 2006 for the younger. As a blend he doesn’t show the XO label but its inner quality goes well beyond.
It’s best enjoyed neat as a sipping drink to discover a prestigious cognac made from the best family reserves.
