Weight: 200
Cheese Type: Uncooked, Pressed cheese
Originate from Netherlands, Gouda was traditionally made by women. The uncooked pressed cow’s milk cheese gets some fruity and caramelly notes. Aged, it will be roasted and firmer/ drier in texture. Rich in flavours, the truffles add extra delicate mushroomy notes to the cheese.
Wine Pairing:
Red wines (Cabernet Franc, Bordeaux)
White wines (Chardonnay, Grenache Blanc)

I’m typically not a huge fan of Gouda but this one went really well with the truffle and the truffle taste was quite prominent as well.
