Agour is made by the eponymous cheese dairy, located in Hélette, in the Basque Country. Maison Agour showcases the best of the Basque delicacies with this small tomme that combines ewe milk’s and the famous Espelette pepper. Espelette pepper is a variety of chili that is cultivated exclusively in the French commune of Espelette in the Atlantic-Pyrennees.
Gently rubbed with the Espelette, its redish rind reveals a smooth ivory paste with the characteristic vegetal and clean aromas of the ewe milk.
